Better End Mod guide

Better End Mod Troubleshooting Guide

Use a controlled checklist instead of changing many files at once. Most setup issues are easier to isolate when the mod stack is simplified.

Game crashes on startup

Check the Minecraft version first, then confirm Fabric Loader and every required dependency. Remove duplicate or outdated JAR files from the mods folder.

Missing dependency message

Read the error name carefully and compare it with the required-content list for your exact BetterEnd release. Install the compatible dependency, not simply the newest file available.

Possible mod conflict

Make a backup, then reproduce the issue in a test profile with BetterEnd and only its required dependencies. Add other mods back in small groups until the problem returns.

World-generation problem

Test the same mod stack in a new temporary world. If the issue appears only in an older save, the cause may be related to generated chunks or an update transition.

Cannot join a server

Compare server and client versions. Registry-heavy content mods are sensitive to mismatches, so keep the required mod stack synchronized.

Safe download reminder: use the official BetterEnd project listing and select a file that explicitly matches your Minecraft version.
